Yadkin

Yadkin is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 32.9 acre (133.000 square meter) area in Yadkin County, North Carolina; the Yadkin site has the capacity to generate 6.7 megawatts of renewable energy.

With 56,160 two by one meter solar panels installed, Yadkin came on stream in December 2020 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Carolinas.

The site uses First Solar 4120A modules, Kaco Blueplanet 150 TL3 inverters and an RBI Solar fixed-tilt mounting system.
