Swansboro

Swansboro is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 36.5 acre (148,000 square meter) area in Jones County, North Carolina; the Swansboro site has the capacity to generate 6.7 megawatts of renewable energy.

With 56,160 two by one meter solar panels installed, Swansboro came on stream in December 2020 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Progress.

The site uses First Solar 4120A modules, Fronius Symo 24.0 inverters and an RBI Solar single-axis tracker mounting system.
