Little Mountain

Little Mountain is one of twenty solar assets owned and operated under the name North Carolina Solar. A ground mount system over a 35.7 acre (144,000 square meter) area in Yadkin County, North Carolina; the Little Mountain site has the capacity to generate 4.1 megawatts of renewable energy.

With 33,750 two by one meter solar panels installed, Little Mountain came on stream in November 2019 and is fully contracted to the Duke Energy Progress.

The site uses First Solar 4120A modules, Fronius Symo 24.0 inverters and an RBI Solar single-axis tracker mounting system.
