Bone Creek

The 19-megawatt Bone Creek hydroelectric facility is located 90 kilometres south of Valemount, British Columbia, near the town of Blue River.

Bone Creek expected to have a long-term average generation of 70,000 megawatt-hours per year.

Bone Creek has a 20-year PPA for all power produced, expiring 20 years from the date the facility becomes commercially operational.

Respectful of the traditional territory of the Simpcw First Nation in which this project is located, we worked with the Simpcw First Nation to provide benefits such as contracts, employment, environmental monitoring and investment opportunities.
