Power facilities meet industrial and public needs
TransAlta plays a key role in meeting the needs of industrial and health care customers in some of Ontario’s largest centres, and we provide electricity to the provincial power grid through our wind, natural gas and hydro facilities. We also contribute to local communities through the efforts of our enthusiastic staff and through corporate assistance to area charities whose objectives mirror our own.
