TransAlta holds Silver certification in the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business’s Progressive Aboriginal Relations Program. The program is a quantifiable certification program that verifies the corporate commitments.
For over 100 years, TransAlta has been a proud community member that believes education helps build healthy and prosperous communities and through our Aboriginal Bursary, we support students to reach their full potential. TransAlta’s bursary program encourages and assists Aboriginal students in obtaining post-secondary and trades education as well as other job training.
- TransAlta is partnering with Indspire for our 2019 Aboriginal Bursary. Indspire provides hundreds of scholarships, bursaries and awards to thousands of Indigenous students every year, and through this partnership TransAlta is able to double the number of bursaries available in 2019!
- The new application deadline for TransAlta’s Aboriginal Bursary is November 1, 2019
- Applicants who have already applied will be contacted with instructions for submitting your application through Indspire.
