Aboriginal Relations

Understanding and Respect

Before thinking of itself as a generator of electrical power, TransAlta strives to be a responsible neighbor that partners with local communities to build relationships based on trust and respect.

Engaging with Aboriginal Communities

TransAlta’s employees work hard to engage early with Aboriginal communities in the areas where we operate and to build new relationships with Aboriginal communities in as we grow our renewable energy business. TransAlta strives to be a good business partner, a great place to work and committed to the well being of Aboriginal communities.

Investing in Aboriginal Communities
