The following steps will help in submitting a funding request to TransAlta:

• Review the funding section of this site as well as our funding exclusions to ensure that your request will be eligible for consideration.
• Read the online application guidelines provided on the first page of the online application form. These guidelines highlight the information you need to complete the form. With information in hand, completing the application should take approximately 30 minutes.
• Use the online application, complete all of the required fields and submit the finished form (your Internet browser must be set to accept cookies).

Once the request is received, we will conduct a preliminary review to determine if it meets our funding guidelines. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we must sometimes be selective even with those requests that fall within our guidelines.

Within approximately 10 business days, we will send you an email letting you know if your request is being considered or if it has been declined. We are unable to respond to inquiries about the status of your request.
