Funding

We consider funding requests from responsible not-for-profit organizations, registered charities, and other community organizations that have programs and services that meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Fits one or more of TransAlta’s four funding focus areas; arts and culture, education, the environment, and health and human services
• Supports at least one of our operating communities and fills a recognized need that benefits the community at large, or a wide segment of the population
• Complements the company's business interests and values

We also welcome opportunities where employees can volunteer or where we can provide in-kind assistance, such as the use of company equipment and meeting rooms.
