    The DJSI (North America) selects the top 20 per cent of companies in each sector according to sustainability practices out of the 600 largest North American companies. TransAlta is one of 24 Canadian companies named to the index, and the only Canadian company representing the utilities sector for 2010. This year marks the company's fifth straight year on the index.
