Committed to Keeping the Community Informed

It has been an exciting few months at the Bone Creek Hydro Project near Blue River, BC. In December the project team completed the final installations to the 18 megawatt hydro project. Despite some challenges caused by heavy rainfall in September 2010, the project is on schedule to start operations in the spring of 2011.

Over the next few months the project team will be working to wrap up the project and reclaiming the area before the facility becomes fully operational in the spring.  Read more about the Bone Creek project and our upcoming reclamation activities in our stakeholder newsletter which was mailed to residents in the Blue River, Barrier, Clearwater and Valemount areas in January 2011.
