Le Nordais

Situé en Gaspésie, le parc éolien Le Nordais produit en moyenne 165,000 mégawattheures par année. Ce parc compte 132 éoliennes, soit 75 à Cap-Chat et 57 à Matane.

Le parc est en exploitation depuis 1999.

L'électricité produite par le parc est vendue aux termes d'un contrat d’achat d’électricité (« CAE ») conclu avec Hydro-Québec.

TransAlta possède et exploite le parc Le Nordais par le truchement Canadian Hydro Developers, une filiale en propriété exclusive.

Located on the Gaspé Peninsula, Le Nordais wind farm generates an average of 165,000 megawatt hours per year. The facility consists of 132 wind turbines; 75 in Cap-Chat and 57 in Matane.

The facility has been operating since 1999.

The power from the facility is sold under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hydro-Québec.

TransAlta owns and operates the Le Nordais facility through its wholly owned subsidiary Canadian Hydro Developers.
