TransAlta was the first to bring commercial wind power to New Brunswick. In 2008, our 96 megawatt Kent Hills facility began operation - producing enough electricity for approximately 17,300 homes. In 2010, we announced a 54 megawatt expanision - Kent Hills 2. New Brunswick has tremendous wind energy potential and we are committed to helping harness its promise while reinforcing our reputation as a safe operator, and as a contributing member to the communities in which we operate.
