Aboriginal Relations

Understanding and Respect

Before thinking of itself as a generator of electrical power, TransAlta strives to be a responsible neighbour that partners with local communities to meet our collective needs, including Aboriginal groups that are affected by and benefit from our operations.

We are committed to building open, constructive, mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships with the Aboriginal communities with whom we are neighbours.
