TransAlta supplies electrical power to the mining operations of Western Australia from its operations near Kalgoorlie, West Australia near Parkeston and Leinster which produce 335 Megawatts, and supported by a business center in Perth. Surplus power is made available to the local grid. We partner closely with our industrial customers to provide exceptionally reliable power—a model that our employees take with them into the community to improve the quality of life for those who live and work near our operations.
