Thank you for your interest in TransAlta’s New Graduate Program. Our recruitment and selection cycle begins each year in the Fall. Job postings for the program can be found on our Career Opportunities page at that time. We invite energetic and ambitious graduates to apply.

Are you eligible?

We generally recruit students with degrees in accounting, finance, economics, electrical or mechanical engineering. To be eligible to apply for our New Graduate Program, you must have graduated within the last two years of the program start date. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada, willing to relocate to any of TransAlta’s business areas and provide your cumulative GPA with your application and academic transcripts during the interview stage.

What is the campus recruitment schedule?

TransAlta attends university career fairs and information sessions in the Fall of each year. Please check in with your school's career center for more information.
