Our New Graduate Program is designed to give you a first-hand understanding of TransAlta at all levels, expose you to the many facets of power generation and help you establish the contacts necessary for your future success in the business.

For this program, we generally recruit recent graduates with degrees in:

• Accounting
• Finance
• Economics
• Electrical or mechanical engineering

Job rotation for maximum benefit

Our program challenges you through four, six-month rotations in various roles across the organization. Three revolve around your core competency and usually one will challenge you to step outside your area of specialty and showcase your diversity, build on your experience, and gain new insights and interests.
